Among the headliners for Rock en Seine’s 20th anniversary year are Billie Eilish and The Strokes.
On August 23 and August 27, respectively, the Grammy winner and the New York indie music icons will head the Paris festival’s lineup.
Girl in Red, Tove Lo, and Hannah Grae will provide support for “Happier Than Ever” singer Billie, while The Strokes will be joined by Foals, Angel Olsen, Wet Leg, The Murder Capital, and Flavien Berger.
Fever Ray, Turnstile, and Bertrand Belin will provide support for Placebo’s August 25 headlining performance.
On August 26, The Chemical Brothers and Florence + The Machine will share the headline spot with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Tamino, Charlotte De Witte, and Dry Cleaning.
In due course, a lot more names will be added.
Between August 23 and August 27, the festival is held in Domaine National de Saint-Cloud in the center of Paris.
“Rock en Seine continues to move from strength to strength with the team delivering another great line-up,” said Jim King, CEO of European Festivals at AEG Presents. It is now commemorating its 20th year of existence after regaining prominence among Europe’s top events.
The festival’s general manager, Matthieu Ducos, added: “We began the concert 20 years ago. Although the voyage thus far has made us very proud, the best is yet to come. We are really happy about the lineup for this year, which combines the absolute best of the newest pop artists and classic rock bands that fans have been dying to see since years, especially after a very successful returning 2022 edition.”
The sale of tickets for August 23 begins on January 25 at 11 a.m. GMT / 12 p.m. CET.
On January 26 at 11 a.m. GMT / 12 p.m. CET, tickets for the 25th, 26th, and 27th of August go on sale.
