Ben Affleck volunteered at a homeless encampment on Tuesday to help individuals affected by the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, California.

The “Jersey Girl” star, whose $20 million Pacific Palisades estate escaped the horrific fires, was spotted with a group of volunteers outside the property.

At one point, Affleck appeared weary as he took a smoke break with a colleague clutching a binder.

The Oscar winner donned a gray jacket over a blue sweater and purple shirt, fitted gray slacks, and white Nike sneakers.

It is unclear what humanitarian activity he was performing, but there were plenty of individuals in severe need of his assistance.

Thousands of residents have been displaced as a result of the flames that broke out on January 7th, destroying over 16,000 structures, including houses and businesses.

The blaze killed 28 individuals and burned over 50,000 acres of land.

Affleck was forced to escape his Pacific Palisades house and flee to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s home due to the fires.

He bought the ritzy bachelor apartment in July 2024, after things went bad with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez.

Fortunately, the five-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion, which includes a pool, a guesthouse, and horse stables, was saved from the calamity.

Several celebrities lost their houses in the flames, including Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, Paris Hilton, and others.

Affleck, 52, may have been moved to offer his assistance after volunteering with World Central Kitchen to provide meals to Los Angeles firefighters just weeks earlier.

Last November, the ex-partners and their children volunteered at a homeless shelter for Thanksgiving.

Since terminating their 10-year marriage in 2015, Garner and Affleck have remained friendly. The ex-spouses have three children: Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 12.
