Squid Game will return for its third and final season on June 27, 2025.
The news is accompanied by first-look photos that suggest a terrifying ending, such as a pink guard pulling a bloodied competitor toward a pink ribbon-wrapped coffin. The colorful track from Season 2’s pentathlon is replaced by a swirling floral design, while Young-hee and Cheol-su’s silhouettes allude to even more deadly obstacles to come.
The final episode, which picks up where Season 2 left off, will follow Gi-hun (Lee Jung-Jae) as he makes difficult decisions and the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) strengthens his hold on the lethal competition. With each round testing the survivors’ limits, the series promises an intense and gruesome ending.

With 68 million views at debut, Season 2 of Squid Game broke all previous records, becoming the third most-watched season on Netflix and leading the non-English TV charts in 92 countries. Season 3 of one of Netflix’s biggest worldwide sensations is expected to provide an exciting and dramatic finish, with the stakes higher than ever.
