The ‘last’ album by US pop artist The Weeknd is on track to launch at number one in the UK this week.
Hurry Up Tomorrow is Abel Tesfaye’s sixth studio album and, if we believe him, his final record as The Weeknd. The self-described ‘gothic’ and ‘operatic’ LP concludes a loose trilogy that includes 2020’s After Hours and 2022’s Dawn FM, both of which were past UK Number One albums.
Hurry Up! Tomorrow would be The Weeknd’s fourth UK number-one album, following 2015’s Beauty Behind The Madness and the aforementioned After Hours and Dawn FM.

Friday might be a watershed moment for English electronic duo Maribou State, who are on the verge of scoring their first UK Top 10 album with Hallucinating Love (3). Overall, it’s Chris Davids and Liam Ivory’s fourth album, following 2018’s Kingdoms In Colour (25), which reached the Top 40.
RØRY, an English alt-pop singer, is aiming to achieve her first Top 10 record with her debut studio album RESTORATION, which might debut at Number 4 in the UK.
Kim Wilde’s Closer (6) might become her third UK Top 10 album (and first in 37 years). It serves as a follow-up to her most successful album, Close (1988), which also happens to be her last Top 10 album.

Further down, Scottish soul singer Brooke Combe anticipates a Top 40 debut with Dancing At The Edge of the World (22), as does renowned composer Ludovico Einaudi with The Summer Portraits (30).
