Over the weekend in Nashville, Kid Rock made a surprise cameo before disappearing within minutes.

According to Taste of Country and a TikTok video by ZPierre509, the Detroit-area rocker was introduced as a special guest at Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan’s birthday party on Saturday night.

Rock and the band, which included Bryan on keys, were performing “Proud Mary.” Things were going well until Rock became dissatisfied with what the fans were doing. Or rather, not doing.

“No! (Expletive). Hey, stop. “If you don’t clap, we won’t sing,” Rock informed the audience. “That’s how it’s gonna go.”

Rock then demonstrated how he wanted the audience to clap with their arms above their heads. “Don’t get too fast,” Rock warned as he demonstrated.

Rock resumed singing, but after around 45 seconds, he became dissatisfied with what he was seeing from fans.

“Do you know what? (Be prepared, y’all). You ain’t gonna clap; I’m leaving.” According to reports, Rock left the stage and never returned.

Rock has scheduled a seven-city tour, with Chris Janson opening in certain places and Uncle Kracker opening in others.

In March, he will visit Omaha, Minneapolis, Louisville, Milwaukee, Oklahoma City, Wichita, and Kansas City as part of his tour.

He is also bringing a two-day music festival to ten small cities, including Hastings, Michigan, featuring Nickelback, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Travis Tritt, Big and Rich, and others.
