The accusation was made in one of the numerous lawsuits Diddy is dealing with while he is still detained in Brooklyn on suspicion of sex trafficking.
Kirk Burrowes, a co-founder of Bad Boy Entertainment, filed a lawsuit against Diddy’s former business partner, alleging that Diddy fled Los Angeles in secret in the trunk of a police car following the murder of The Notorious B.I.G. He is accusing him of compulsion, intimidation, sexual harassment, and other offenses.
According to Kirk Burrowes, Diddy sought assistance from music industry fixer Clarence Avant after becoming frightened during the attack. Burrowes claims he was “carried to a private airport via the trunk of a police cruiser, enabling him to escape the city undetected as local gangs searched downtown Los Angeles for him,” as AllHipHop captured him on camera. He is also accused in the lawsuit of having “false, performative grief” after the occurrence. According to the lawsuit, Diddy and his lawyer, Kenneth Meiseles, actually coerced Burrowes into delivering them Wallace’s last business contract so they could change it, granting Diddy “a 100% interest in Wallace’s works.”

Additionally, Kirk Burrowes claims that Diddy threatened to physically harm him unless he gave up his 25% ownership stake in Bad Boy Entertainment. Burrowes has already filed the identical complaint against Janice Combs, Diddy’s mother. He claims that Diddy once demanded that he hand over his shares after storming into his office brandishing a baseball bat. He claims to have “irrefutable evidence” that Janice “illicitly [assumed] control of [his] 25% ownership stake in BBE and secretly received it.”

As the Gender Motivated Violence Act in New York is set to expire, Kirk Burrowes’ lawsuit against Diddy comes as a number of alleged victims have been complaining about the Bad Boy entrepreneur. Diddy is in incarcerated in Brooklyn on allegations of racketeering and sex trafficking. In May, his trial for that matter will begin. He has already entered a not guilty plea and refuted every accusation made against him.
