Jonathan Majors has acknowledged that he strangled his ex-girlfriend in unreleased audio recordings.
The conversation between Grace Jabbari and Majors in September 2022, following a dispute, is captured in the audio that Rolling Stone has recovered. Majors acknowledges allegations of a settled civil suit in the recording, which include being strangled and rammed into a car.
“I am ashamed to have ever—” Majors stated. “I have never been aggressive toward a woman before.” I have never been aggressive toward a woman; rather, I was aggressive toward you.
“You choked me and threw me against the vehicle,” Jabbari stated.
“Yes, all of those items are classified as “aggressed,” yes.” Majors stated. “I have never experienced such an event.”

Jonathan Majors publicly disclosed that he was sexually exploited by both men and women during his childhood just last week.

Majors disclosed in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter that his maltreatment commenced at the age of nine, precisely one year following his father’s departure from the family. He characterized the perpetrators as individuals who were “supposed to provide for you in the absence of a father.”
Majors confronted his childhood trauma during therapy sessions that were mandatory as part of a domestic violence program that he completed in the wake of his 2023 assault conviction involving his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.
He acknowledged that the abuse had a profound impact on him, stating that it had left him “f***ed up.” He only recently disclosed his experiences to his mother, and although she issued an impassioned apology, Majors assured her that he had reconciled himself to the situation. He believed that it was crucial to share his truth as part of their family’s narrative, as he believed that acknowledging the past would enable them to “grow and learn from it.”
