Ben Affleck is speaking up on everything related to Jennifer Lopez, saying that their breakup was not surrounded by a major scandal or soap opera and that he still holds a lot of respect for his ex-wife.
Ben explained in an open GQ interview that they were just two people trying to work out their lives and relationships, most likely in need of couples therapy. However, he felt weak and ashamed about it, which is why he kept the specifics of their dramatic breakup a secret… until now.
In their 2024 documentary, “The Greatest Love Story Never Told,” Ben clarified that his appearance of misery did not play a role in their split and that he only became involved to help Jennifer.

He acknowledged what he knew going into the relationship and that he would have a “interesting examination” on the entire document situation, but he gave J Lo credit for managing the limelight better than he did.
The hero of “The Accountant 2” clarified that he was okay discussing his personal life as long as it showed his true feelings. In this case, he was making it very evident that he greatly respected Jen.
Last month, Ben and Jen’s divorce was formalized. According to TMZ, they were married in 2022 without a prenuptial agreement.

They hashed out all of their community property, which included funds from their projects throughout their marriage, and came to an agreement on the $60 million Beverly Hills house they purchased together after roughly five months.
