The new song ‘I Ain’t Coming Back’ marks the return of Post Malone and Morgan Wallen to collaboration.

The pair will release the brand-new song on Friday, April 25, following the success of their massive country collaboration “I Had Some Help,” which smashed Spotify’s single-day country streaming record with nearly 14 million streams and shot to the top of the charts worldwide.

Following Malone’s hint that he is working on a second country album, the two meet up once more.

According to the ‘Chemical’ hitmaker, he has “made probably 35 songs” for the follow-up to the 2024 chart-topper ‘F-1 Trillion’.

He expressed his enthusiasm for the project in an interview with Billboard prior to his performance at Coachella in California on Sunday, April 13.

Regarding his Nashville collaborations with Ernest, Hardy, and Thomas Rhett, he remarked: “We just have fun.” We simply sit and write tunes and f***ing speak. Therefore, I’m already quite anticipating the new record.

He’s “made probably 35 songs; it’s just a matter of which one’s rock, and which one’s sock,” said Malone.

“When I sit there and listen to these songs, I get really excited when I hear the band play, even though I usually detest listening to my music,” he added.

The ‘Circles’ hitmaker discussed how he seamlessly blends all of his styles, including pop and rock, into a single set, saying: “You put a twist on the instrumentation and the musicianship of it.”

We have Cheese [Chandler Walters] on steel [guitar] and Lillie [Mae] on violin, which they incorporate into the older tunes before switching to the new s. The thing about me has always been that it’s all about f*** music.

The superstar, 29, also acknowledged that he was “nervous” about performing at Coachella.

“I wasn’t as nervous back then,” he clarified. I’m simply getting older. Everything is painful.

On Sunday, April 20, Malone will be the main act at Coachella once more.
