Megan Thee Stallion’s attorneys want Tory Lanez reprimanded for his “inflammatory” actions during a recent meeting with him.
According to a TMZ article released on Wednesday, April 16, Meg’s legal team requested that a judge consider placing Lanez in contempt of court after the imprisoned rapper became slightly hostile during their civil action against blogger Milagro Cooper. The “BOA” artist’s attorneys called the deposition “disruptive, inflammatory, and inconsistent with the basic norms of civil litigation.” They also claimed Lanez attacked Meg’s lawyer’s appearance and described her supposed hair dye as “distracting.”

Meg’s team recalled Lanez’s assertion that he didn’t comprehend basic concepts like “discuss” and “approve.” At the end of the deposition, Lanez allegedly advised the attorney to bring a hairbrush the next time they tried to depose him while leaving the room. Meg’s counsel also attached an email from the law company that represented Lanez during his felony trial. In the communication, the firm stated that they are not representing him in his civil case and will not contest their request to hold the rapper in contempt.

Megan Thee Stallion is suing Milagro Cooper for allegedly distributing false information about her on her social media accounts. The infamous “Hiss” rapper said that Cooper had “spread defamatory statements, deepfake porn videos, and outright lies about [Megan] at the behest and command of Mr. Peterson.” Lanez refuted the charges, but her lawyers supplied receipts for payments totaling $3,000 that Lanez’s father allegedly gave to Cooper in exchange for producing the posts.
