Nitty Scott’s comments came after Kendrick Lamar and SZA launched their co-headlining tour last weekend.
Nitty Scott, Kendrick Lamar’s ex-girlfriend, has responded to fans who have criticized her on social media. In a series of postings on X (previously Twitter) on Monday night, she engaged with followers and even implied that Drake’s team had contacted her for information about Lamar.
Scott once sent an emoji in response to Lamar’s performance on The Grand National Tour. As some fans criticized her of being “messy,” given that Lamar has been in a relationship with Whitney Alford for more than a decade, she responded.

“I let y’all go for ten years… If I want to comment on my little dating adventures, I will, and if I was searching for clout, I would have dropped the sweetest tea you’ve ever tasted a decade ago. “There’s still plenty y’all don’t know, so stop paying attention to me and go away,” she retorted.
She then shared another user’s message: “I actually really like her.” She rejected down large sums of money from Drake’s camp for spilling dirty laundry about Kendrick during the struggle, and she still talks well of him. I believe she was just having fun and did not mean any damage.”
Scott’s responses continued to engage Drake supporters. “What happened last year during the battle? Now I’m going to make you CLOCK IT because you’re a nitty detail specialist. I didn’t talk about our relationship AT ALL last year, save to protect KENDRICK’S GOOD NAME in reaction to people literally accusing him of cheating,” she stated at another time.
Kendrick Lamar started the viral rivalry with Drake last year by joining up with Metro Boomin and Future for a furious rap on their single “Like That.” He made fun of Drake and J Cole on the track. The Toronto rapper eventually struck back, and the two traded barbs for several weeks. The battle ended with the release of “Not Like Us,” which helped Lamar win many Grammy Awards and even appear at the Super Bowl.
Drake launched a defamation lawsuit against Universal Music Group for promoting the song “Not Like Us.” In the song, Lamar refers to Drake and his OVO label as “certified pedophiles.”
