After the terrible death of Preston Ordone, the “Okay Baby” viral celebrity, in a car accident, his family and police are at odds about a critical detail in his death, and mayhem is erupting.
According to Louisiana State Police, the 2-year-old passed away on April 24 when the 2011 Ford F-150 pickup truck he was riding in with his parents, Katelynn and Jaelan, swerved off the road and collided with a tree.
Katelynn and Jaelan were seriously injured but survived the hit in St. Tammany Parish, north of New Orleans. The boy’s grandfather, Glen Norris, has vehemently denied the police’s assertion that Preston was not securely buckled up in his car seat.

Police stand by their findings based on the information they have so far, Trooper Marc Gremillion told NOLA.com. The inquiry is still under progress.
In an Instagram video, family members revealed the tragedy and the severity of Katelynn and Jaelan’s injuries.

Jaelan had emergency surgery on one of his legs, which now requires rods and pins, while Katelynn sustained a serious concussion and several fractured bones. Both are receiving care at other medical facilities.
Preston’s endearing videos and his catchphrase “okay” won him millions of fans on Instagram and TikTok.
He was only two years of age.
