Jordon Hudson, Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, is posting emails from the former coach following his difficult interview with CBS.

The former college cheerleader posted a few screenshots to Instagram amid criticism from fans when Hudson, 24, blocked a question about how she and Belichick, 73, met during his April 27 CBS Sunday Morning interview.

Hudson posted an image of Belichick’s email to what appear to be his book publishers, stating, “Full statement to be released later today,” outlining his worries about the promotion of his forthcoming biography, The Art of Winning: Lessons from a Life in Football. In the email, Belichick seems irritated by a story that prioritized his admission that he “f—– up” in a Super Bowl over the book’s “260+ pages” of other subjects.

Belichick’s writing, “This is about what I expected from the media,” “I have occasionally complied with the book’s title, cover, and wording. We have plenty of buzz to work with, so I won’t be the conductor of a hype train in the book promotion.”

As if to conclude the email, Belichick wrote, “I hope we can get on the same page in promoting the book authentically.” Two and a half weeks before to his CBS Sunday Morning interview airing, on April 10, he sent the email.

Hudson shared a screen grab of a movie from her camera roll on her second slide. Only two pairs of shoes on grass and a time stamp indicating that the movie is 35 minutes and 59 seconds long are visible in the video thumbnail. She also mentions the journalist who did the interview, Tony Dokoupil, and the Instagram account of CBS Sunday Morning.

When Dokoupil, who referred to Hudson as a “constant presence” throughout their chat, questioned the Tar Heels’ new head coach about how he and his girlfriend met, Belichick’s CBS interview took a turn for the worse.

Dokoupil turned to face her and replied, “No?” Hudson responded sharply, “We’re not talking about this.”

“No,” she reaffirmed, creating an obviously uncomfortable situation in the interview room. Following the awkward pause, Dokoupil says in a voiceover during the Sunday Morning program, “It’s a topic neither one of them is comfortable commenting on.”

But Belichick did answer one of Dokoupil’s inquiries about Hudson. When asked about the public interest in the relationship, he responded, “I’ve never been too worried about what everyone else thinks,” saying that he simply tries “to do what I feel like is best for me, and what’s right.”

Hudson has posted details about her encounter with Belichick on social media, even though the couple declined to discuss their meeting during the CBS interview. Hudson uploaded a picture of the textbook he signed for her when they first met on Instagram on February 11th, marking her “meetiversary” with her partner.

“I appreciate you teaching me reasoning! Have a safe journey. He signed his name and inscribed all of his Super Bowl victories in her book.
