NAV said in June that he will be returning with a brand-new album, and he has just revealed that Travis Scott and Lil Baby will appear on its lead song.
On Monday, July 25, the Toronto rapper posted a clip on his Instagram account that teased a new song called “Never Sleep.” The music is playing from a vintage radio while the opening scene of the video shows Nav going through an empty house.

The Canadian rapper and producer have previously worked with Scott and Lil Baby. He collaborated with them on the song “Don’t Need Friends” from his Emergency Tsunami mixtape in 2020. Additionally, he collaborated with Lil Baby, Gunna, and Lil Durk on the song “Off White VLONE” off the album Drip Harder.
Regarding Scott, Nav enlisted the rapper from Houston for “Champion” on his Reckless album. His breakthrough came on La Flame’s “Beibs In The Trap” from Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. He also made an appearance on the well-known Astroworld song “Yosemite.”
Nav revealed the release date of his new album, Demons Protected By Angels, last month. The XO artist will deliver a surprise for fans on social media days before the release, according to the press announcement for the new album.
As his follow-up to his May 2020 release Good Intentions, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the project will be NAV’s fourth studio album. In November 2020, he released his final work, the mixtape Emergency Tsunami, which was totally created by legendary beatmaker Wheezy.
There hasn’t been much information released about Demons Protected By Angels, but NAV is hoping it will be as successful as his last two solo studio projects. In addition to Good Intentions reaching No. 1, NAV’s album from 2019 titled Bad Habits also did so.
