As he balances a significant Hollywood project with his final WWE tour, John Cena isn’t slowing down.

Cena was the last man eliminated by Jey Uso in the Royal Rumble match, but he nearly won from his second stop. He is currently aiming for Elimination Chamber, where he will compete for a last WrestleMania main event.

Cena declared after the Royal Rumble that he would participate in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match the following month. If he prevails, he will face GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship or Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41. Which champion Jey Uso decides to face will determine the outcome.

An “action-packed, globetrotting adventure,” the film was produced by Apple Studios, Skydance Media, and Mattel Films. The story centers on a group of childhood friends who must band together to avert an impending world disaster, however specific plot details are still being kept under wraps.

Jessica Biel, Sam Richardson, Arturo Castro, Teyonah Parris, Randeep Hooda, Danai Gurira, and Corey Stoll are among the outstanding cast members that Cena leads. Filming will continue in Slovakia and Los Angeles after production began in Budapest in January 2025.

It is anticipated that Cena won’t make another appearance on WWE programming until Elimination Chamber due to his full Hollywood schedule. When he gets back, though, everyone will be watching to see if he can win one final title fight before he formally ends his career.
