Although Wu-Tang is a kid-friendly act, it will soon be remembered as a touring performer.
On Monday, the iconic New York rap trio revealed that it would be embarking on its farewell North American tour. The tour will begin in Baltimore on June 6 and end in Philadelphia on July 18.
Throughout our career, Wu-Tang Clan has shown the world numerous chambers; this tour is titled The Final Chamber. In a statement, creator RZA said, “It’s a special moment for me and all my Wu brothers to run around the world together one more time and spread the Wu swag, music, and culture.” Above all, to reach out to our supporters and admirers who have helped us over the years. In addition to performing songs we have never performed for our audience before on this tour, my production crew and I have created a Wu-Tang show that is unlike anything you have ever seen.

RZA, Ghostface Killah, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, Cappadonna, and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard are all members of the Wu-Tang Clan, a group of artists with an unrivaled hip-hop legacy. They infuse their noirish stories of Staten Island with stunning samples and imagery from samurai and kung fu films as well as comic-book mystique. The expansive 1993 album “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)” is frequently listed as one of the best hip-hop albums ever made.

In contrast to previous trips that frequently lacked the entire crew, this tour is said to feature all of the Wu-Tang Clan’s surviving members as well as ODB’s kid, Young Dirty Bastard. In order to ensure the group’s legacy, RZA has been producing documentaries, books, and narrative series in recent years. Last year, the trio concluded a Las Vegas residency, which is unprecedented for a hip-hop act. It’s unclear if this marks the end of the group’s regular touring or if they intend to keep making songs.
Along with California dates in Ontario, San Diego, San Francisco, and Sacramento, the tour will make its debut at the Crypto.com Arena on June 22.
